Pretend shopping...

Since this economy has me broke, I am pretend shopping on-line. I put it in the shopping cart, but I don't buy. Here's what's in my pretend shopbop shopping cart this week.

I would wear these on my pretend trip to wine country. Times are indeed rough, but there is still so much amazing fashion to tempt a girl.

Garlic Heaven

Went to Sugoi for lunch. Garlic ahi was delicious. That sauce is awesome.

The iphone has arrived...

When I figure out how to use it, I will have fabulous blog posts and snap worthy pictures from my phone!!

Bruce knows the way to my heart...

is through the cupcakes in my tummy. I was surprised with the best gift yesterday...cupcakes from Cake Couture in Aina Haina. They have the best red velvet on the island (that I've tasted to date).

I also got to taste their Chocolate Mint and Banana Caramel....yum!

Hooray for frosting and the man that buys it for me!!

Never met a cheesecake I didn't like...

I worked all weekend, so the sum of my exciting weekend was the food on my desk. After a busy Saturday, I swung by La Palme D'or at Ala Moana and got my favorite jelly au lait with milk and a slice of Cheese D'or, their cheesecake. Mmmm.....

On Sunday, Melanie brought me an oreo and white chocolate truffle. It was yummers!!

The Story Behind the Hello Kitty Dress....

I took these pictures last November, when I was in L.A. visiting Kalei and working. They were part of the Hello Kitty 3 Apples show in Culver City. I took pictures of pictures of Lady Gaga.

I was totally in awe of this dress made of stuffed Hello Kitties.

While waiting for the series finale of the Hills to come on last night, we watched Double Exposure on Bravo. They had the photo shoot that these pictures came from! I had no idea that GK was the mastermind behind the Hello Kitty dress. Amazing!!
